been here twice... It was so bad the first time, I figured I'd just hit them on a bad day.... sadly I was wrong. I really wanted it to be good... but not even close. How can ice cream be so salty? They also make one of the worst milk shakes I've ever had (it also is one of the most expensive I've ever had). Also when I asked them to combine ice cream flavors in my milkshake they refused. Little Rock is one of the worst city's in the country for food, with this place ranking right at the bottom. It's a real shame, the people running the place are very friendly and it seems like a cool place to hang out.

Diamond root beer float with double vanilla ice cream is super good. Love the settings to sit and enjoy your dessert. Across the street there is root restaurant. Recommend to go there first as they don't have a lot of place inside, and come here to cool off.

This review is for the Green Corner Store and the Loblolly ice cream counter contained therein. Cute interior and lots of yummy goods to buy, as well as a crafts section that would be a good source for gifts. The Loblolly ice cream is divine and has interesting flavors. They also make wine freezer pops that I am excited to try.

I checked out this store after needing to walk off a filling breakfast at the Root Cafe across the street. I'm so glad I did! It's a unique store that sells Loblolly Ice Cream and carries wonderful handmade and natural items, a good place to pick up a thoughtful gift for a friend. I bought a nice shea butter/vanilla/lavender lip balm and of course couldn't leave without a scoop of ice cream (can't remember which flavor now, but I liked it!).

Simply AMAZING!! Every flavor I tried was amazing! Thanks to all the yelpers I found this place and I couldn't be happier. Everything is home made and they carry lots of organic items such as....essential oils, cleaning supplies, baking supplies, jewelry, T-shirts and etc. The staff and owner were very sweet and friendly and they did not get tired of US trying every flavor. It's cute, cozy and homemade. :).

O my word! Hand made. Ice cream made down the street having many flavors each one better than the last!

The ice cream (salted caramel) was VERY good. It tasted like a cold Sees candy caramel lollipop. The cone was homemade for sure, & the marshmallow prevented dripping. I wish I could come again & try other flavors! I took a star off for service-the women at the register were unfriendly & the woman helping us with the ice cream kept talking to some guy sitting at the counter. Every time she had to go down to that side they would talk for a bit before she came back. That was pretty irritating.

This place was great! It was like an old-school ice cream parlor with a soda fountain, and antique marble bar with adorable stools, and chalkboards everywhere describing the flavors of ice cream they offered. I of course, chose the salted caramel with rainbow sprinkles. It was pretty delicious. All their ice creams are home made, so bonus there - everything is deliciously creamy! If you choose to stay and eat in, they serve your ice cream up in an official ice cream dish, whereas, if you choose to take it to go, your ice cream comes in either a homemade cone or a biodegradable cup. They also share a space with an eco-friendly home goods store. Lots of nice trinkets there, so be sure to check it out!

I went during a Happy Hour event benefitting a local foundation and had the Blackberry Sweet Corn ice cream. Boy was it good--like kettle corn with wisps of tart blackberry. I would have liked a little more blackberry, but the overall experience was superb. The stretchiness of the ice cream reminds me of Turkish ice cream.

Sadly far too sweet for my palate. Having just moved to AR from upstate NY where there was one artisanal ice cream place 30 minutes away and another an hour away, I was hoping to find a new local ice cream shop with original flavors - I don't waste calories on ice cream unless it is very good. Based on the reviews here I had high hopes for this place. Although their flavors are creative, even the tiny samples were far too sweet for me - sugar was the dominant flavor. I am sad now because I was really hoping to like their ice cream. I guess that's how it will be in the land of sweet tea... No ice cream for me. :-(

dear Loblolly Creamery - You rock. the end. love, Caro ---------------------------------- dear Everyone else - go to the Green Point Cafe' in Little Rock, have a homemade cone with a fresh marshmallow at the bottom, and have ANYTHING they have to offer. Most notably these flavors that we tried made with local ingredients: - honeycomb cumin - vanilla - salted caramel And ps, treat yourself to an ice cream sandwich made with whatever cookies they've made that day. DoItDoItDoItDoIt ....!!! And if not, treat yourself to a lil ice cream soda ;) they have the best people working behind the counter. the place has the best charm of a soda shoppe. Just go.

So delicious! Homemade ice cream is the best thing on earth. The blueberry buttermilk tasted like incredible cheesecake and the earl plum was a tasty mix of tea and fruit. Very friendly counter staff let us try a lot of flavors without rolling their eyes. Cute outdoor seating. Try it you'll like it!

What a great addition to our city! Loblolly Creamery is located inside the Green Corner Store in the SoMA district (however, you can find their concoctions around town in various grocers and stores.) They use all organic, high-quality ingredients with no preservatives. That means you won't be getting cancer from these sweets. Their specialties are ice cream, sorbet, and soda - and the menu is quickly expanding. During my visit, the owner(?) was extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the different "healthier" options. They have many vegan and gluten-free products, and will be carrying sugar-free products, too. And as mentioned previously - they use no artificial crap...it's the real deal. I tried the Leche Merengada ice cream (which doesn't really use cream at all). It's a frozen cinnamon and lemon flavored milk meringue. Delicious and refreshing on a hot, Arkansas summer day.

Awesome sweets made locally from local and organic ingredients! What's not to love?! Come try their wares at the soda fountain in the Green Corner Store or keep your eye out for their products in other locally owned businesses. There really is no reason to satisfy your sweet tooth anywhere else in Little Rock!

Slightly hard to find, but I added an outside picture to help future yelpers! Super nice people, amazing homemade waffle cones and the ice cream is memorable!

I first tried a pint of their ice cream from Boulevard Bread and was dissatisfied, but it could have been the flavor choice (Peanut Butter Cookie in Dark Chocolate, or something along those lines). I was determined to give them another chance after reading about them in Arkansas's Best magazine. So, I went in one day after school and got the Salted Carmel ice cream in a homemade cinnamon sugar cone and it was AMAZING! Great ice cream & cute location. I hope the neighborhood it's in, SoMa, picks up because it would be a really neat addition to LR.

best ice cream in town. end of story. also the best nondairy ice cream i've ever had. good vibe here, hope it lasts and strongly recommend picking up a few of their pints. A+

Amazing! Even picked up a pint of the SeaSalt Caramel Ice cream, put it in the freezer after eating a couple bites...ok a bunch of bites...and a couple of days later it was just as soft and creamy as I left it! Kind of didn't want to review because I'm afraid it'll get popular like the Root and I won't have anywhere to sit! :) BEst kept secret in LR.
